We don't
simply have a business proposition; we have a philosophy of health and beauty.
If you know Erbe, you know everything about our company is real, and everything about our products is true. If you don’t know us yet, we’d like to introduce ourselves.
We stand for tradition and happily occupy a niche. We are not a big industrial, mass-production cosmetics company.
For almost 25 years we have measured our success by how different we are from the larger businesses that take the idea of beauty and corrupt it through mass marketing and aggressive cost cutting, and, ultimately, silly claims. The big companies do not know you, and, worse, do not care to know you. Rather, they employ the tactics of demographics, psychographics and analytics to reduce you to some abstract being, possessing certain needs and assets.
On the other hand, Erbe has always been hands-on, making simple promises in the form of a highly personal and, so, meaningful message to our faithful clients. The product has always been inspired by our relationships.
The majority of skin care lines include chemicals, which imitate the healing actions of the actual botanical extracts found in Erbe products. What we’ve found is that chemicals, however cheerily or “scientifically” expressed, achieve only superficial and temporary results. They offer illusions—the famous “hope in a bottle.”
Erbe approaches ingredients differently. Our products put you on the healing track. They interact with your skin; they work deeply because they are intended to cure actual dermatological problems. Our idea of a regime is few products, each intended to provide real and lasting benefits.
Erbe has always been about the natural world and our relation to it. We come out of a real tradition: “The Authentic Italian Beauty Tradition.” We are the descendants of generations of men and women who understood the relationship between real beauty and true health and found in the Earth.
Erbe is committed to raising the awareness of a largely ignored past. We have reclaimed the wisdom of our Italian monks, whose healing practices anticipated by centuries what we think of as “modern” today. They are our past, and we are their future.
Toward that end, we reject the pathological pursuit of profit at the expense of the real. Our aims are as humble as our formulations; we want to help people enjoy lasting results from a few truly effective products rather than being caught up in a cycle of useless purchasing.
Confidence and trust are the major assets we have had all along our
retail operation. I learned that people are not just consumers, I felt all the
way that there is a lack of professional skills among retail
operators, they undervalue the power of honesty and loving approach
with clients. Is all aimed to make a quick sale and not to cultivate a
clientele. When I was running the retail operation, I found that people need to
feel unique and important, they have to trust that the product suggested is the
perfect and appropriate product for them. Of course this have to be sustained
by a trained personnel
There are many good memories starting with my clients bringing their teen
age children from great compliments I had from several celebrity clients but,
the most moving thing is when I saw people regaining a youthful skin and
appearance a see their total satisfaction and happiness. I have to admit
that most of the people who have been using ERBE products
methodically for a long time, they kept a younger skin and vs. people who did
not.
I see there is an empty space in the market for true herbal products, I
would like to cover that market. There is a growing public seeking natural
products but it is difficult to discern among the many so called “ natural”
“organic” brands. There is a lot of confusion and I feel is important for me to
be distinguished by that type of categories because, regardless of their claim,
in reality most cosmetic company uses the same commercial bases as everyone
else, synthetic or “reconstructed” essential oils and inert row ingredients. So
far ERBE has been recognized as the only brand reflecting the Authentic Italian
Beauty Culture and my plan is try to pursue this concept with integrity and
innovations.
ERBE takes the Italian cosmetics in the United States by embracing and modernizing the work of 15th and 16th century Italian herbalists, physicians and herbalist monks from celebrated monasteries,and combining our local and centuries-old knowledge of the Italian beauty culture formulations with the most recent cosmetics preparation's procedures and modern technology .
